Halloween was so scary

Well, maybe not scary but crazy. We started out running late as usual. I was nervous to get Conner dressed in his Frankenstein costume because I had tried putting him in it a few days before and he started screaming. He of course starts screaming again and the only way he would put it on was to have Poppa put it on him. Logan on the other hand had been so excited about dressing up in either Frankenstein or his Pirate costume. He surprised us though and was upset about having to put it on. They both calmed down and by the end of the night I think they really liked it. Conner had a bike accident right after he got his costume on. He doesn't really pedal the bike he just pushes himself along and so I think that he pushed to hard and it knocked if off balance. He went face first into the street and luckily only had a little scrape on his nose. It ended up being a good night just hopefully next year they will be excited to dress up!

Conner is going to have a baby....

SISTER!! I'm a little nervous that she will end up being a he. I've heard stories about that sort of thing happening to people. The ultrasound technician said he has only been wrong 4 times in 8 years but that it was always really a boy and he said a girl. He thinks I will need to have another ultrasound at around 28 weeks to make sure the placenta has moved because right now it is really close to my cervix...sorry if this is too much information for some of you. He says it is nothing to worry about since it isn't resting on it but that if it doesn't move then I would have to have a c-section. I'm a little freaked out about a c-section even though some people say it is easier. I know that God knows best and he will take care of us both.

Trent and I have had a few girl names picked out when we were waiting to find out what Conner was. We had Peyton, Parker, and Presley. Trent likes Madelyn now too so I'm not really sure what we will end up naming her. I guess we do have some time to decide!

I'm still here

I know I have been horrible at blogging. I guess I will update everyone on what is up with us. First, we are expecting another baby...yes it was a surprise!! I've been a little bit sick and VERY moody....just ask Trent I'm sure he will tell you. We are very excited and I think this baby is due in the middle of March. I haven't been to the Dr. yet so I will keep you all updated. We are changing Dr.'s so that we won't have to drive all the way to Sugar Land even though I loved my Dr. there. We are back in Texas and I think Conner has adjusted pretty well. We did take away the binky and that has been a little crazy. He has done pretty well up until a few nights ago. Then he decided it would be fun to get up at 4:30 in the morning and stay awake! I'm not a real big morning person and then when I'm pregnant I'm really not! Conner is saying lots of words and his favorite thing to do is golf or I guess I should say hit balls. He does this all day long with a few breaks to eat or build something with his blocks. I will try and keep updating on a regular basis. Here are a few pictures I have taken recently.

Sweet Little Reina!!

Reina is the most precious little girl I think I've ever met. She can always bring a smile to your face. She has accomplished so much this year. I was in shock when I heard all the words she was saying and Kyla was almost in tears when she said Kyla for the first time yesterday. It was of course after saying Daddy about 10 times. I think she is in love with him but what girl isn't in love with their Dad. Anyways, I was shocked when Conner decided to push her around in this little car because usually him and Logan are screaming and fighting to be in it. Conner really loves her and he thinks it is fun to tickle her. Josh and Kyla were suprised that she let him touch her because she likes to push Logan away from her. He is her stinky little brother though. Also, please ignore the wailing cat in the back ground Logan was only terrorizing the poor thing!

WATCH OUT....Conner has a golf club!

Ok, I know that it is plastic but believe me it still hurts when you get hit with it. I have been hit in the mouth and the knee and Mimi has been hit in the knee too. He is a little wild with it but I think with a little practice he will be GREAT!!! Trent has been begging for a video since he misses us so much or maybe he just misses Conner. I wasn't sure what I was going to video since lately there hasn't been much going on. I didn't know if anyone wanted to see video of Conner getting in trouble for sitting on the table, pulling the cat's hair, or chasing the dogs around with the broom or golf club either. So tonight when he started hitting the ball I decided I better grab the camera. I, of course, think everything he does is pretty cute (except for a few things) so I really have to think about what to share with everyone.

Conner has been very BUSY!

We have stayed pretty busy lately. Nothing too exciting but it keeps us busy. I usually work and Conner stays at the house with my Mom, Kyla, or Shala. It works out well for all of us I think. Conner has fun staying at the house and playing with Logan but he does get upset that he doesn't get to go bye-bye. They like to play in the water, dig in the dirt, and eat dog food. Yes, dog food!! It is so gross and they get in trouble for doing it but they just sneak around waiting for just the right moment. It is usually a dead give away when I ask Conner what he is eating and he starts laughing and takes off running. He is starting to say more words and I think he may be getting more teeth. Here are a few pictures.

Fun In the Sprinkler

I stayed home with the boys today while my Mom and Kyla went and worked. Logan wasn't too sure about going so we had to tell him all the fun things we could do at Mimi and Poppa's house. Playing with the toys, seeing the dogs, or coloring were not getting the trick done so Kyla said how about playing in the water. Logan quickly agreed that it would be fun and boy was it fun. I was laughing so hard at them. Conner would sit over the sprinkler and try and get a drink from it. Logan wasn't too interested in it and then I saw why. It rained here last night and the slide had filled up with water. (My parents got a swing set for the boys and it isn't up yet but they still love to get on the slide.) We had a great afternoon and they are both asleep right now!!!

Conner thought it was pretty funny that Logan was getting him with the sprinkler but then he had enough!!

Time for a haircut!!

If you haven't seen Conner in awhile then let me just tell you he was in need of a haircut...a professional haircut. He has had his hair cut 3 times. Once by a professional and yes, twice by ME!! I have to admit I should NOT and I repeat NOT cut hair. The first time I cut it my Mom and sisters all said that he looked like Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber. It was pretty bad and it was a few days before Christmas so the poor little guy had to have crazy hair in all of his pictures. My Dad actually got kind of upset and said that I shouldn't be allowed to have the scissors anymore. So, we got his hair cut today and no it was not done by me.

SORRY!!

I just want to say sorry for not posting in awhile. Trent has been asking me to post for about 2 weeks now (for those of you that don't know Conner and I are in OK visiting.) I actually haven't had very much time to do anything since we have been here. I have been helping my Dad at DQ and then it always seems like something comes up so I don't get on the computer too much. I am hoping that that I can get it figured out to download a video on here. I have a pretty funny video of Conner and Logan dancing. Lets just say they are Dancing With the Stars material!! It is so cute so hopefully it will work.

Mimi sent Conner some underwear even though she thought they would be too small by the time he actually was able to wear them. I thought I should get a few pictures of him wearing them because who knows when it will happen!! He didn't really like them and kept trying to take them off. I guess he is letting me know that he isn't quite ready for that.

Wheel of Fortune!

Conner doesn't really watch a lot of television. Not because I don't let him he just doesn't really act that interested unless there is music on or if it is Wheel of Fortune. He has been watching it since he was probably six months old. He gets really excited when the music comes on and then continues to watch it. He does get distracted during the commercials but once he hears Pat or the wheel clicking as it spins he is right back to watching. All I have to say is watch out Pat, I think Conner wants your job!!

First Time to Blog

I'm not really sure how this is going to work out but I think I will give it a try. I have been thinking of starting one and then when I was sending out my email today I thought people might be sick of me sending them pictures. So I thought by doing this if people do want to see pictures and what is going on with us they could look whenever they decided to. Since this is my first time I think I will just put pictures up of the mess we had last night. By the way we did clean the dog food up! Sorry to bore some of you but that was all the excitment we have had at our house lately. Well, except for Conner getting 3 teeth and his top molars trying to come in. Poor baby!!
